I wish I could give this Michael Jackson dvd 20 stars.This DVD is absolutely wonderful. The performances on this dvd are truly amazing. I love all of the performances, but the dancing in Smooth Criminal is outstanding. Also, the performance of Man in the Mirror is a wonderful way to close out the concert. The performance of Man in the Mirror is so moving and heartfelt. This dvd is a must have for any Michael Jackson fan and I really love it.

Wow. This DVD shows the talent of Michael Jackson beautifully. When I played it on our DVD everyone in the house started gravitating to the room and then sat there totally mesmerized for the entire concert. This included my daughters friend, who at first said she wasn't a huge fan of Michael Jackson. She changed her mind after seeing this concert. Loved it. The video side and the music side. The video (as can also be seen on you-tube is so strong and powerful. This is not one of those MJ dance moves videos. This is a song with a vibe. Multiple meanings can be grasped through watching this video and listening to the song. I love it, my kids love it. I had someone at work watch it for the first time and she was wowed as well. Again nothing fancy but the cinematics of the video along with the passion of his song make it all worth while to have in our MJ collection.

On the contrary to what Albert is saying about the "Stranger in Moscow" it has meaning, and a deep one at that. One that one should know about lyrics and poetry is that it should be able to have more than one meaning, a metaphoric and symbolic meaning that makes the words more elegant and beautiful. Those are some of the aspects to great poetry, and that is the main element in the song. If it seems to not make sense to oneself, than you have not really listened to the song because it speaks of much more than just the literal words.

This is one of my favorite songs because of the wonderful organization of his words, and the beauty behind it all. He sang about a type of lonliness that he feels in being in all of this chaotic society of fame and recognition. He even says "Here abandoned in my fame" which tells us that he can't derive the happiness that he once felt. He even says "Happy days will drown in pain," depicting a picture that says that he can't find a way out of this lonliness and abandonment that he once felt, and all that he sees now is the pain of life. He talks about how the media is belittle the person that he really is and trying to distort his image into someone that he would never become. This message was clear in HIStory as well as this song. He sings, "Swift and sudden fall from grace, sunny days are far away," I'm sure you understand the magnitude of the situations that surrounded him when this song came out. Because once there was a moment where he was on top of the world and was so well known for his music and his genius, but then out of no where he gets false accusations and then is de-humanized by the government/police that is supposed to protect him, the tabloids that try to exploit him, and then worse of all, some of his public that was supposed to support him, and they are the ones that meant the most to him. In one fair swoop, everything was taken away from him, and these words convey all of his emotions so well.

The tone of this song is essentially a sad one, and of desperation of happiness, but then in the end it becomes intangible. The beginning of the song starts with the soothing sounds of rain fall, then a soft and smooth tempo brings out the song, and then Michael's voice is extraordinarly passionate about what he is saying because of all the emotion that stirs within him.

The song itself is entitled "Stranger in Moscow" and what he is essentially trying to say is that he feels like a person dropped in an unknown place without any way to contact anyone else, and he feels lonely because he doesn't know who to turn to or where to turn to. Like if you were in a strange country where you knew nothing about them and they knew nothing about you. You would obviously feel alone and long for your old life again. And that's what he feels.

This song is one of the most amazing songs I have ever heard from Michael. I can't even begin to imagine the lonliness and abandonment, but through this song, you feel the immense pain and the excellent reciting of emotions through poetic and majestic words.

This CD really improves on CD1 because it contains Hanis Num Club Mix which is excellent. The cover art is also great. Obviously a must have for any real collection, no wonder my own collection has reached 80 CDs LPs 12" and 7" singles and cassettes and cassingles. Its all a must have for any real collection, anything officially released by Epic from 1979 to 1997 is a must have for any real collection. Go and get it while you can. This CD single is merely another small bit of the amazing catalogue MJ has released over the years and every piece is worthy in its own right.

This title is reportedly copy protected. Though they say it doesn't affect sound quality, it will not play in some DVD players, most computer CD Roms, and will not be as scratch / damage resistant as normal CDs.They copy protect CDs by screwing with the error correction on CDs. If the disc gets scratched it needs this error correction to "fix" the error. This is defective media and should be labeled as such. Even if you agree with copy protection you should not buy this because you are allowing the record companies to sell you a product without proper labeling. Technicaly they should not be allowed to put the Compact Disc Digital Audio label on the disc because it does not adhear to redbook audio standards.

micheal jacksons new track "you rock my world" is diffently one of his best song in years. as a long time fan and dj i hope the rest of album can live up to this impressive single. we all know he trying to hold on to the crown of "king of pop" and there is no doubt that the album will sell millions but after a 10 year wait i hope its worth it but "you rock my world" is a really cool laid back track with nice grooves. it's really one to cheek out.
