In 1991, Michael gave us his ninth album entitled, DANGEROUS. Once again, Michael proves to us that he truly is the King of Pop. Just about every song on this album is amazing.
"JAM" (performed by Michael Jackson & Heavy D)
The fifth single from the album. At first, I wasn't too keen with this song, but about ... five years ago, I listened to the song again and it had grown on me. Definitely a great song.
"WHY YOU WANNA TRIP ON ME"
Great song.
"IN THE CLOSET" (performed by Michael Jackson & Princess Stèphanie of Monaco)
The third single from the album. Damn! Michael really wanted a sexual song and he got it. This is one sexy song. In the song's music video, (sexy) model, Naomi Campbell, appears as Michael's lady friend, where she actually re-recorded Princess Stèphanie of Monaco's vocals.
"SHE DRIVES ME WILD"
Great song.
"REMEMBER THE TIME"
The second single from the album. Michael continues to reel out the awesome dance tracks. The song's music video is another one of Michael's greatest and one of his most elaborate. Eddie Murphy appears in the video as Pharroh Ramses, as the video takes place in Egypt. Iman, David Bowie's now-wife, appears in the video as the Pharro's queen, who, is "Bored. I want to be entertained. Can my Pharroh find some way to entertain his Queen?" After two failed entertainers, a mysterious man approaches, throws onto the floor, three handfuls of gravel, stands on the gravel, and mysteriously disappears, leaving his black cloak. Suddenly the gravely and clock turn into gold, which then morphs into Michael, where the song finally begins, with Michael flirting with Egypt's Queen.
"CAN'T LET HER GET AWAY"
Great song.
"HEAL THE WORLD"
The sixth single from the album. What a great ballad with an extremely positive and true message.
"BLACK OR WHITE"
The first single from the album. What a great song. The message being sent out is one of the greatest messages ever. The video was directed by John Landis, who is famous for directing such movies as "Kentucky Fried Movie", "Schlock", "Blues Brothers", "Trading Places", "An American Werewolf In London", as well as Michael Jackson's video for "Thriller".
"WHO IS IT"
The fourth single from the album. Great song.
"GIVE IN TO ME"
The seventh single from the album, though, released in the UK & New Zealand only. Once again, Michael decided to rock out. This song is way too awesome, and is my favorite from the album.
"WILL YOU BE THERE"
The eighth single from the album. Not only was this song the album's eighth single, but it was also the theme song for the 1993 Drama / Family film, "Free Willy". I never cared for this song.
"KEEP THE FAITH"
Great song.
"GONE TOO SOON"
The ninth single from the album. Great tune.
"DANGEROUS"
The album's title track. Great song.

Fantastic of course. One of his best albums, but it's hard to find in stores. I was incredibly thrilled to find it on here, and in good condition as well. It's played great, and the booklet is in fantastic condition.

This is explosive crazy
R&B. It's out of control..
the syncopation at times
is dazzling. This album
is way ahead of its time.
I love the energy on
songs like I Can't Let Her
Get Away and basically every
other track.. a feast for the
ears my friends.. a feast for
the ears!!!!

Michael Jackson's "Dangerous" was released in 1991. This was after "Thriller" (the best selling album of all time) and "Bad" (became the second best selling album of all time). Most people consider those two (along with "Off The Wall") to be his best work. But I think they're wrong. I think this is his best work ever. In fact, I'll go so far as to say that this is the best album in the history of music! From the infectious beats on "Jam," to the emotional "Heal The World" and "Will You Be There," this album goes to so many different places and does a great job at it! Michael Jackson is "The King Of Pop" and this album proves it! Buy this album right now!! Trust me, you will not be disapointed.
PS - I also reccomend the "Dangerous - The Short Films" DVD, because the videos are just as captivating as the music!!!

back in 1991 Michael Jackson re emerged with a new sound and vibe. He came back with a New Jack Swing and more edge to his sound. He had elements from his past. all the New Jack Swing cuts are bangers. Jam,Why you wanna trip on me?, In the Closet, She drives me wild, Remember the time(which is soulful) can't let her get away, the title cut is tight. WHo is it is tight, will you be there. so many Great classic MJ vocal performances and the overall feel of the album is still a Banger. Michael Jackson as always being the Creative Genius he is,always is able to turn the corner with whatever is happening. I played the album, cd and tapes out and had to buy new copies. MJ had that Jerri Curl Activator New Jack Swing Funk going on. Props to the King of Pop.
