I've always known Michael Jackson's music since I was a kid so, needless to say, I was in anticipation of recieving this package. The memories were still there but the audio quality was sub-par. Maybe because of my affinity for good sound quality, I was a little disappointed in the so called 5.1 audio. It sound like they just took the stereo elements and spread them across a 5.1 matrix. Otherwise, it was for the memories that I made the purchase ...and my kids love the music.

I became a big fan of MJ's about 2 years ago, even though I grew up with his music I had switched over to listening to country music because my friends were into that at the time! I had some of MJ's CD's and DVD's but not this one! After MJ's untimely death I decided to purchase everything I could get my hands on! This DVD is awesome and the sound and quality of it was great! A must have for any MJ fan! I ordered it and even though the shipping choices were a but confusing I had it within 2 weeks! I had ordered other items that Amazon did not have in stock and chose super saver shipping which shipped the items in as few shipments as possible therefore delaying the shipment! When I went back and changed the shipping options I had the the DVD withing 3 days! Other customers might want to be cautious about this! It can be confusing! I definatly recommend this DVD to any MJ fan! MJ will live on in my heart through his music! He was a master at creating music!

Well worth it, especially now that he is gone. These are not videos, they are 90 min. visual stories. And as such these short films ARE historic; complete with the special LONG version of Bad, based on a true story...except Michael doesn't die in this one; but he drives the point home at the end. Is anybody listening?



The Way You Make Me Feel has a more detailed beginning, again with Michael's character trying what most people do; fit in. The moral of the story? Be true to yourself.



The Controversial "Panther" version of Black or White is good, but I have to admit I still don't get the zipper part of it. While I don't condone destruction of private property, try to take into consideration there's racist graffiti all over the car etc. before you get all caught up in the "violence" part of it. I don't remember if that was ever shown on MTV.



Everything else is CLASSIC...although I would have loved to have seen the behind the scenes making of Thriller included in this!

Best product ever! I really love the thoughtful and Album-like packaging of each individual CD. It's like a modern day singles album collection. The best part is that when you take the back of each individual CD cover it makes the MJ visionary face (as seen on the box). The remixes are amazing too! --Which are included on each CD. Some remixes are even better than the original songs! Overall I was pleased, MJ has so many hits that not all of them are in the box but the ones that are make it a true treat! This set will only increase in value as time goes on (only a limited amount were made in 2006, not mass-produced). If you have one, Enjoy each mini movie masterpiece!

I am a huge Michael Jackson fan! Everything he releases, I purchase! I remember getting this at the time when it came out and I was very pleased at the hole package. The only flaw I have with this item is that its missing a few classic videos. Where is SCREAM? One of the best videos ever recorded and most expensive video ever. Also a duet with his legendary sister Janet. Also where is the rarley seen "She's Out Of My Life" video?..That was a hit single back in 1980. Also where is Who Is It? Will You Be There? Give In To Me? Gone Too Soon? Man In The Mirror?Another Part Of Me? Childhood? and the latest video "You Rock My World?....Maybe theres a part 2 of this collection waiting somewhere to be released. Michael Jackson is the greatest and will always be. He is one of the few living legends left out there.

It's nice that they did this for Michael Jackson but to have a video box set with videos and singles and not include all his videos and singles, to include "Speed Demon", "Scream", "Human Nature", "The Girl Is Mine", "Just Another Part Of Me", "Will You Be There" just to name a few is underminingg the price alone. Then there's no booklet to go with it, just a box and some sleeves. The Dual-disc idea was pretty smart but to have on the audio CD side only two-three editions of the single is a waste of a whole CD. why not include dance mixes and more remixes and the video edits of the singles?

I have to say I feel sorry for people who think this slick production is on a par with Michaels golden period of 1979 to 1992. This video is fun and interesting but lacks the essential magic that drove the world crazy with things like Moonwalker and The Bad Tour. Its all too slick and all too perfect. It has its good moments but really is only considered great by those kind of fans who have missed out on all the good old days hype. Ghosts is not something to make you jump for joy and the special gold CD single is good for 'On The Line" but the other cuts just suck. A must have for any real fan but I'd rather watch that Bad Tour Documentary anyday, if only I still had it. I gave my Ghosts box set away, I kind of want it back but not much.

this is right in the alley way of a music video masterpeice! it had its little kinks that stray it from perfection but what is perfect? this video had me second guessing which music video of his was my favorite. smooth criminal will remain as my all time favorite but ghosts falls right into second place. i do think that the crowd couldve had more interaction with the plot but like i said before what is perfect?

I actually got "Ghosts" off of Ebay two years ago, I got it in the VHS format. I love it. Although I must admit, if I would have known that it was going to come on VH1, MTV, and MuchMusic nowadays, I'd have waited and taped it off of the television. But that's ok. Nothing like having your own real copy of a movie that you love. I'm hoping and praying that Mike will come out with a new one. Cause I'm just a big big big MJJ fan.

For all of you hardcore Michael-fans, this is absolutely a must have. Originally Sony intended to bring out singles like Is it Scary & Smile. However, ...this wonderful box set was released. It continues the following items:

- The Ghost Video (approx. 35 minutes) - The Ghost Program Book (as given to the visitors in Cannes) - The cd Blood on the dancefloor/HIStory in the mix - A limited edition cd-single with the following songs:

1) On the line 2) Ghost (Mousse T's sing a long mix) 3) Is it scary (DJ Greek's scary mix)

1 = a previously unreleased song by Michael that was intended for Spike Lee's movie Get on the bus. Beautiful ballad, produced by hitwonder Babyface 2 & 3 are also unreleased mixes. 2 = nothing more than a instrumental version, very boring. 3 makes you wanna turn off the music ....

The glossy ghost program is a pure collectors item, only a few thousand copies are being made, most of them were hand over to the celebrities who attended the premiere at the Cannes filmfestival. And the longform ghost video is a must have.

Also blood on the dancefloor, wonderful album. A few mid-quality mixes, but the 'new songs' blood on the dancefloor, morphine, superfly sister, ghosts & is it scary are obligatory food for every michael-adorer. So, give it a try, you won't be dissapointed.

Michael Jackson's 'Ghosts' video is the best music long form video I have ever seen. He is an incredible dancer, and even better singer and a superb songwriter.

Ghosts - The Home Video

The video itself! Which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 1996. This video is his best effort since either 'Thriller', or 'Smooth Criminal.' The visual effects are amazing, the dancing is incredible and the story-line is solid. Check out the makeup in this video. Wicked!

Blood On The Dance Floor - The Album

The first five songs of this disc, 'Blood O The Dance Floor', 'Morphine', 'Superfly Sister', 'Ghost', and 'Is It Scarey' are masterpieces. The other 8 songs are remixes from Michael's 1995 opus, 'HIStory: Past, Present and Future: Book 1' which was one of Michael's best albums to date. An excellent addition to this Box Set. The actual program that was handed out at the Cannes Film Festival! The pictures are printed on beautiful glossy paper and their are many unreleased photos from the film!

Is It Scary "DJ Greek's Scary Mix" - Is by far one of the best Michael Jackson remixes I have ever heard. And that is no lie! This thing is pounding, I love this remix. I would buy this Box Set strickly for this song! I'm serious!

This Box Set is deffinatly worth the money! When this comes back on themarket, you have to get this! It's amazing!
